After week 18/2013, a small number of influenza virus isolations/detections was reported. In the 2013/14 season (from week 36/September of 2013), isolations/detections of AH1pdm09 and AH3 were reported since week 36/2013. Those of B/Yamagata lineage and B/Victoria lineage were reported in week 40 and week 41/2013, respectively (Fig. 1). From the begining of 2013/14 season, AH1pdm09 from 16 cases in 5 of 47 prefectures, AH3 from 37 cases in 7 prefectures, B/Victoria lineage from 7 cases in 4 prefectures, B/Yamagata lineage from 7 cases in 3 prefecture were reported (Fig. 2).
